About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research and Development Associate to join our team at the University of Zurich. As a key member of our R&D team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our daily research activities, focusing on primary cell culture work and molecular biology assays.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research experiments and gather data to support our research goals
- Plan and execute research projects, including literature research and data analysis
- Present research findings and results to the team and stakeholders
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as biology, chemistry, or a related field
- Experience in aseptic cell culture techniques and primary cell culture
- Proficiency in standard molecular biology methods, including qPCR, Western Blot, and immunostaining
- Experience with Flow Cytometry is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in English, German is an advantage
- Valid work permit for Switzerland
