About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Events team as an Event Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Events Managers, ensuring the smooth execution of our annual events, such as the World Cargo Symposium, the Digital, Data and Retailing Symposium, the IGHC Conference, the Wings of Change, the Global Airport, Passenger & Accessibility Symposium, and the IATA Cargo Events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Events Managers on administrative tasks related to event planning, execution, and post-event activities
  • Build and update websites related to conferences in scope
  • Liaise regularly with our design team to create visuals, logos, banners, promotional digital flyers, and develop them yourself whenever possible
  • Prepare weekly event registration reports, statistics, and surveys
  • Provide administrative support, including invoices, reports, visa letters, and other tasks
  • Assist on-site when required

Requirements

  • Recent graduate (within 1 year) from a University with a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field such as Marketing, Event Management, and/or Business
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.), Adobe Creative Suite, and HTML/SharePoint and SAP
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects, highly organized, and able to take care of detailed administrative tasks
  • Ability to adapt to workload and work under pressure with a positive mindset, proactivity, and a problem-solving attitude
