Product Manager Job Description

Wallee is a leading fintech company in the payment and payment processing industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our agile team and contribute to the development of our innovative payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the payment product strategy, including end-to-end product definition and profit and loss management.
  • Support the development team in story writing, refinement coordination, and development planning.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to guide the development team and ensure reliable estimation on Jira story level.
  • Own the onboarding and merchant portal lifecycle, including customer lifecycle strategy and portfolio management.
  • Define journeys together with UX and implement go-to-market concepts and rollouts.
  • Operationalize products, including documentation, sales and support training, contracts, KPI definition, and monitoring.
  • Analyze and map existing and new business processes.
  • Manage stakeholders, including customers, partners, users, and internal teams.
  • Support user story creation, including acceptance criteria.
  • Review and accept work completed by the development team, ensuring it meets defined acceptance criteria and delivers expected value to customers.
Requirements
  • English language proficiency (German is an advantage).
  • Experience in product management within the payment industry.
  • Strong customer-oriented mindset.
  • In-depth knowledge of payment products.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and data analysis software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile certification.
  • Experience as a Product Manager and Owner.
  • Experience with customer experience and user interface design.
