Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Engineer to join our team at Tethys Robotics at Wyss Zurich Translational Center. As a Field Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and deployment of our underwater robotics systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct field testing and analysis of our underwater robots to ensure their performance and reliability.
  • Develop and implement test methods to support the development of new features and products.
  • Collaborate with our R&D team to analyze and improve our system's performance.
  • Provide training and support to our partners and customers on the use and maintenance of our robots.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and guides for our robots.
Requirements:
  • Technical background in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Science engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in Unix.
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German and English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Pragmatic and solution-oriented approach to work.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in an additional language to German and English.
  • Experience with ROS and Game Engines/C#.
  • Experience in piloting drones.
