Financial Reporting and Analysis
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst/Senior Accountant to join our team at Man Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial reports, analyzing financial data, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly IFRS management reports for selected entities within the group
- Prepare supporting schedules and perform related processes, including general ledger postings
- Conduct financial control, including analytical review and balance sheet reconciliation
- Review monthly management accounts for all entities within your area of responsibility, ensuring the general ledger is accurate and complete
- Prepare board reporting as required
- Prepare local GAAP statutory accounts
- Prepare regulatory returns for regulated entities, liaising with local regulatory advisors as needed
- Liaise with auditors and local tax advisors to ensure the delivery of information for tax returns and other tax filings
- Advise treasury on FX contracts needed to hedge foreign currency monetary assets and liabilities
- Calculate interest on intercompany loans
- Maintain Swiss cash management and review set limits daily
- Ensure payroll process works smoothly and clarify any unreconciled items with HR
- Take a proactive role in questioning processes to drive continuous improvement
- Support other financial control and reporting initiatives as required
- Involvement in ad-hoc projects within Finance
Taxes
We are also responsible for:
- Preparing Swiss VAT and Stamp duty returns
- Supporting tax reporting to Group tax
- Administering tax invoices and ensuring timely payment
