Chief Financial Officer

Liom is a Swiss deep-tech startup that's revolutionizing the field of personalized health monitoring. Our mission is to develop a non-invasive glucose monitoring wearable that will change the game in healthcare. We're a team of over 70 experts, including more than 50 PhDs, with a strong focus on entrepreneurship, product development, and scientific disciplines. Our lab facilities are based in Pfäffikon SZ, Switzerland, and we have an office in San Francisco, USA.
Your RoleWe're seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join our team and lead our global financial operations. As a key member of our executive team, you'll be responsible for shaping and overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including the implementation of our ERP system. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that our financial operations are aligned with our strategy and that we're making the most of our resources.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and manage our budget, forecast, and long-term planning to ensure timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage our cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for our obligations and operations.
- Accounting and Financial Reporting: Oversee our accounting processes and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Capital Management: Ensure that our raised funds are utilized and allocated effectively.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, taxes, and laws, and manage financial risks.
- Relationship Management: Manage our relationships with auditors, banks, and other financial partners.
- 10+ years of finance experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in a high-growth company, ideally in the consumer market.
- Proven experience managing international finance operations in Europe and the US.
- Proven experience leading the implementation of an ERP system.
- Strong organizational skills in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent English and German communication skills, both written and spoken.
