Salary InformationThe estimated salary for this position is around $90,000 - $110,000 per year, based on industry standards and the location of Basel, Switzerland.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Statistician to join our team. Your tasks will include:
- Supporting synthetic molecule development pipeline work, including process characterization, validation, transfer, assay validation, and shelf life studies.
- Supporting synthetic molecule commercial manufacturing, including process monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Collaborating with other statisticians on method development and improvement.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a closely related field.
- Advanced proficiency in statistical methods and software, such as R and JMP, for designing experiments and data analysis.
- Extensive experience in designing experiments, particularly in the context of process characterization, optimization, and validation.
- Expertise in analyzing and interpreting complex datasets to derive meaningful insights and support decision-making.
- Proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with professionals in chemistry, pharmaceutical R&D, assay development, and regulatory affairs.
