Join Our Team


As a Sr. Manager, Supplier Relationship Management - Sourced Materials, you'll play a critical role in building and maintaining positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and strategic partners. Your expertise will ensure that Biogen has a continuous supply of commercialized products to our patients, while also driving innovation into pipeline products.



Your Responsibilities


Some of your key responsibilities will include:




  • Leading the Supplier Relationship Management Team, linking Procurement, Finance, Quality, and other internal Biogen partners to provide a unified voice to external partners.
  • Coordinating, facilitating, and participating in quarterly meetings with strategic partners to review supplier performance, share demand projections, and agree on a pathway forward.
  • Driving innovation to integrate changes between programs, suppliers, and customers.
  • Building rapport with vendors/suppliers and role-modeling teamwork with procurement managers to improve value from contracts and relationships.
  • Establishing and maintaining collaborative stakeholder relationships across the organization and evaluating performance throughout all contract phases.
  • Understanding internal processes that are triggering complexity externally to our partners and driving improvements to establish Biogen as a customer of choice.

Requirements


To succeed in this role, you'll need:




  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, MBA, Management, Project Management, Finance, Education, Science, or Supply Chain Management.
  • A minimum of 7 years of related experience, including supplier relationship management experience in a GMP environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead using indirect management and influence.
  • Strategic thinking, with the ability to shape plans and gain buy-in from stakeholders.
  • Process and project management skills, with the ability to manage change.
  • Strong people skills, with the ability to envision, energize, and enable teams.
