Network Strategy Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Strategy Director to join our team at Takeda. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a capacity-driven network strategy that optimizes supply reliability, flexibility, and economic performance.
Key Responsibilities- Drive analytics to support product portfolio rationalization, network economic assessments, and cost of goods evolution.
- Partner with the Finance team to analyze financial data and support strategic capacity investments.
- Assess network economics and support sourcing decisions to ensure optimal capacity utilization.
- Launch the Global Manufacturing & Supply (GMS) long-range capacity planning process to identify and mitigate capacity shortages or overcapacities.
- Collaborate with site leadership teams and business functions to develop a long-range Statement of Capacity that meets budget expectations.
- Work with external manufacturing partners to understand capacity in outsourced manufacturing networks.
- Evaluate network performance using analytics and identify optimization opportunities.
- Lead the Annual Strategy Refresh Process and workshops to identify network strategy studies.
- Develop and present network strategy recommendations to stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of network strategy management infrastructure, including scenario planning and financial planning.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or biological sciences/pharmacy.
- 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry, with prior financial analysis responsibility.
- Familiarity with relevant biotech/pharmaceutical technologies and awareness of developing manufacturing technologies.
- Demonstrated planning skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience in developing and executing multi-site plans and change management.
