Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant / Dishwasher (m/w) at Hotel Europa Suites AG.

This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires a high level of organization and attention to detail. As a Kitchen Assistant / Dishwasher (m/w), you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

• Sort and clean dirty dishes, utensils, and glasses in a timely and efficient manner
• Operate the dishwasher in a safe and efficient manner
• Dry and store dishes and utensils in a clean and organized manner
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and surrounding areas
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
• Remove trash from the kitchen and dispose of it in designated receptacles
• Conserve resources and minimize waste by using cleaning products and other supplies efficiently
• Support the service team in sorting and cleaning recyclables
• Notify maintenance staff of any technical issues with equipment
• Maintain a clean and hygienic environment in the kitchen, storage areas, and surrounding spaces

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as a strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time.
