We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Verification Engineer for UWB to join our team at Infineon Technologies. As a key member of our Connected Secure Systems (CSS) segment, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive systems for a secure, networked world.
Key Responsibilities- Define and Implement Verification Concepts: Develop and implement verification concepts for UWB IP using leading-edge methodologies such as constrained random, formal, and power-aware approaches.
- Architect UVM-Based Environments: Design and architect UVM-based environments for our UWB module and its subcomponents, ensuring efficient and effective verification.
- Lead Verification Management Activities: Define and steer verification management activities, including verification planning, tracking, and reporting, as well as requirement-based verification.
- Verify Complex Digital IPs: Lead the verification of complex digital IPs comprehensively, ensuring a smooth work process and high-quality verification signoff.
- Drive Methodology Improvement: Proactively drive the improvement of existing verification methodologies and flows, ensuring they remain relevant and effective.
- Mentor and Coach: Contribute to the team's growth by mentoring and coaching young engineers, helping them develop their skills and expertise.
- Education: A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field.
- Experience: At least 6 years of professional experience in the field of functional verification.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of verification methodologies (UVM, eRM, ABV, formal), various verification EDA tools, and complex module test benches.
- UWB Protocol Knowledge: Knowledge of UWB protocol is a plus.
- Programming Skills: Rich expertise in HVLs, such as SystemVerilog (preferred) or Specman e, as well as good knowledge of OOP and script languages (Perl, Python, etc.).
- Communication Skills: Fluent English communication skills.
