At Omya AG, we are seeking a highly skilled Global Supply Chain Logistics Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Order and Transport Management System. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth processes and timely deliveries to our customers.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading global company in the Calcium Carbonates industry. Our Customer Service team handles all direct business for our products, and we require an experienced professional to lead our logistics efforts.

You will be working closely with our Project Management team to implement new systems and tools, as well as identify areas for improvement in our transport workflows. Your expertise in logistics management, digital tools, and TMS software will enable you to streamline processes and enhance planning, route optimization, and carrier selection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operation and configuration of our Order and Transport Management System
  • SUPPORT THE PROJECT MANAGEMENT OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SYSTEM WITHIN OUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
  • Identify inefficiencies in transport workflows and use system features to improve processes
  • Support data analysis for transport performance metrics, costs, and service levels
  • Collaborate with logistics, IT, customer service, and third-party carriers to ensure alignment of system functionalities with business needs
  • Lead testing and implementation of system updates and new features
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with commercial education and at least 3 years of experience in logistics management and/or supply chain. You should have high affinity with digital tools, SAP, and good Excel and PowerBI skills. Additionally, you should possess strong communication and team spirit skills.

A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is required. We prefer candidates with hands-on experience with TMS software and knowledge of user training and adaptation of SaaS solutions.

We offer a competitive salary of CHF 70,000 - CHF 90,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience.
