We are seeking a skilled and proactive Help Desk Specialist to join our dynamic IT team at Sommet Education. Located in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, this permanent role will involve providing technical support to students, staff, and faculty, ensuring a seamless experience across our campus.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with excellent customer service skills and a keen understanding of both written and verbal English and French. You will work closely with the IT Service Support Manager to address technical issues and contribute to maintaining efficient technological infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide remote and on-site technical support for Windows and Mac devices using the Service Desk ticketing system.
- Install, upgrade, and maintain PC hardware and software.
- Support audio/video equipment for classrooms, conference rooms, and remote teaching setups.
- Configure new hardware through Intune and manage inventory and equipment maintenance.
- Troubleshoot basic network issues and test solutions before deployment.
- IT Technician apprenticeship or equivalent with ITIL practices (a plus).
- Excellent customer service skills and strong communication abilities in English and French.
- Able to prioritize tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Available during key school periods, including bank holidays.
