About the Role

The Head of Medical Assistance will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of medical assistance programmes, working closely with senior leaders to identify key medical and humanitarian stakes, prioritise them, and determine how Cagi will address these issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Programme Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement medical assistance programmes that meet Cagi's objectives.
  • Team Management: Supervise, advise, support, and evaluate heads of mission in the fulfillment of their global responsibilities/duties.
  • Security and Risk Management: Monitor the level of exposure to risk affecting teams in the field and validate security frames proposed by heads of mission.
  • Communication and Representation: Represent Cagi at high-level meetings and negotiations, and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
Requirements

To succeed in this position, you will require:

  • A strong background in medicine, public health, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in programme management, preferably in a humanitarian context.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
