Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and Implementing Financial Strategies: Developing and providing funding & financial strategies, budget planning, and analysis to ensure the organization's financial goals are met.
  • Procurement and Vendor Management: Overseeing and managing larger-scale longer-term vendor services contracts, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality services and contract deliverables.
  • Financial Integrity and Compliance: Reviewing all operational contracts and agreements, seeking legal review and approval from governing bodies, and developing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with accounting-finance-tax standards and policies.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Acting as a Business Partner to the Secretary General, assisting in all financial and procurement decisions, and partnering with the ICH Finance Committee Chairs and the ICH Finance Committee.

Requirements:

  • Advanced University Degree: In Finance & Accounting, Business Administration, or Economy.
  • Professional Experience: 4-6 years' experience in a similar position, preferably for NGOs or start-ups.
  • Chartered Accountancy Designation: And/or audit experience are assets.
  • Proven Track Record: Successful track record in implementing and improving financial and procurement processes and tools.
