Job Description

Job Title: Communications Officer

Job Summary:

The Communications Officer will play a pivotal role in enhancing the internal and external communications of Banque de Commerce et de Placements SA, promoting an inclusive workplace culture, and implementing the corporate visual identity and employer brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Internal Communications: Contribute to the production and implementation of effective internal communications to support the Bank's objectives.
  • Content Creation: Create, edit, and distribute regular communication content across various platforms, including press releases, newsletters, social media, annual reports, marketing documentation, and the Bank's website.
  • Collaboration and Consistency: Gather communications materials and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging, visual identity, and branding.
  • Content Management: Maintain and optimize content for the Bank's website and social networking channels.
  • Event Planning: Participate in the planning and arrangement of events and promotional activities.
  • External Partnerships: Manage relationships and contracts with external agencies and business partners.
  • Senior Management Support: Draft messages from senior managers for presentation to internal or external parties.
  • Administrative Support: Act as back-up in the preparation of agendas and minutes for Senior Management meetings, including the Board of Directors.
  • Library Management: Maintain a library of all communications tools, videos, and pictures in a digital format.

Requirements:

  • Education: University degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience (3 years) in a similar role in a banking or financial environment.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Attention to Detail: Rigorous and keen eye for details.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Creativity: Creative thinking.
  • Technical Skills: A plus would be an experience with design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and social media management.
  • Software Skills: At ease with MS Office tools.
  • Residency: Swiss national or valid Swiss working permit.

  • Activity rate: 50%, from Monday to Friday
