The Restaurant Manager is a key member of our Food & Beverage team on our Ocean vessels, responsible for ensuring efficient food and beverage operations and maintaining high production, productivity, quality, and guest-service standards in accordance with Viking's STAR Service Standards.
This role reports directly to the Hotel General Manager and requires strong leadership skills to lead and support a multi-cultural team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and enhance the overall dining experience for our guests
- Liaise with the Executive Chef to organize and execute F&B related ship functions and special events
- Implement effective training programs to improve service delivery in accordance with Viking's STAR Service Standards
- Maintain impeccable grooming standards within the restaurant team at all times
- Conduct regular reviews of service delivery in all guest and crew outlets during operational hours

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum. Compensation includes free lodging, meals, unlimited Wi-Fi, uniforms, and laundry for all crew members.
Other benefits include referral programs, loyalty bonuses, and no tax deduction for crew members. A required minimum of 3 years' experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar position is essential for this role. Fluency in Japanese and English is also required.
