Role Overview

Oxyle AG is a pioneering Swiss-based cleantech start-up dedicated to safeguarding the health of our planet's water bodies. Our mission is to eradicate the discharge of toxic micropollutants into waterways, utilizing our innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable water treatment technology. This technology degrades organic contaminants from wastewater without filtering, absorbing, or generating secondary waste, revolutionizing the wastewater treatment sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute experiments to evaluate the efficiency of our treatment in various wastewater matrices.
  • Develop and test prototypes of different processes to assess their performance.
  • Support the execution of ongoing customer projects to ensure their successful completion.
  • Conduct long-term treatments to evaluate the stability of our processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize pretreatment techniques for our customers.
  • Analyze data, present results, and report technical findings.
  • Assist in maintaining laboratory organization.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in conducting R&D activities in chemistry laboratories.
  • Prior knowledge of water treatment techniques is an asset.
  • Independent, analytical, and systematic approach to work.
  • Team player with a passion for innovation and a drive to make a positive impact.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.
  • Swiss working permit or eligibility to work in Switzerland.
