We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Research Specialist to join our team at the University of Zurich.
About the Position- This is a full-time position with an estimated annual salary of CHF 80,000 - 110,000.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting independent research on challenging projects using diverse methods (cell culture, iPSC lab, molecular analytics, live cell microscopy, etc.).
- Document and prepare research findings.
- Plan and execute in vivo studies, including mouse experiments.
- Actively contribute to the design and maintenance of our laboratory infrastructure.
- A committed individual with a BSc/Master's degree with a biological focus, laboratory technician, or technical/biological assistant background.
- Experience in biological-medical research; experience with animal experiments is desirable (FELASA/LTK1 certificate).
- Proficiency in standard analytical techniques such as RNA/protein extraction, PCR, Western blot, and immunohistochemistry.
