Senior Compliance Officer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Compliance Officer to join our Compliance Team at SEBA Bank. As a Senior Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our bank operates in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Drive Compliance projects and initiatives to ensure the bank's regulatory requirements are met.
- Review onboarding cases to ensure they meet legal and regulatory requirements, including AMLA, AMLO, CDB 20, FinSA, and cross-border client segmentation.
- Support front employees in assessing complex KYC cases and transactions.
- Manage KYC and Due Diligence Analysis to ensure accurate and timely completion.
- Develop and review Compliance policies and procedures to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
- Assess and implement regulatory changes in processes, policies, product, and client documentation.
- Provide Compliance advisory services to client handling staff and Executive Management on new products and services.
- Support cross-border business-related matters and tax reporting.
- Identify, assess, mitigate, and report Compliance risks.
- Educate and train employees on Compliance topics to ensure a culture of compliance within the bank.
- At least 8 years of experience in the financial sector, with a strong background in Compliance.
- Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Broad experience as a Senior Compliance Officer in a bank or financial institution, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Experience in or curiosity for blockchain and other new technologies, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Structured, independent, and precise working manner, with the ability to work under pressure and manage own goals and priorities.
- Open-minded, solution-oriented, and team player attitude, with a strong commitment to Compliance and regulatory excellence.
