Senior Scientific Expert Quality Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientific Expert Quality Control Support to join our team at CSL Behring in Bern. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the Quality Control activities and projects within Quality Control Bern, reporting directly to the Manager, Head QC Operation Support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain product specifications, ensuring timely and professional completion of in-process, bulk, and filling tasks.
- Assess and coordinate CSL change requests as a QC assessor/coordinator, ensuring consistency and professionalism.
- Coordinate QC change requests, generating and editing owned SOPs in a timely and professional manner.
- Support QC projects, coordinating activities as per scope, and providing administrative assistance to the QC Ops Manager and departments as assigned.
- Support requests from authorities regarding reagents, control, and reference materials, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Participate in global projects and cross-site activities, providing technical support and collaboration in resolving questions or problems regarding batch release.
- Capture and edit summarizing QC OOX results in a timely and professional manner.
- Establish and maintain contacts with global partners, collaborating in the resolution of technical questions or problems.
Requirements
- Minimum: Bachelor or Technical High School in natural sciences, pharmacy, chemical engineering, or a related field. Alternatively, laboratory technician with well-founded experience in the field of responsibility.
- Project management qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industry with significant exposure to GMP or closely related environments.
- Microbiological, biological, chemical, or biochemical analytics in medicinal or pharmaceutical GMP environments.
- Fluent German and English language.
