Senior Scientific Expert Quality Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientific Expert Quality Control Specialist to join our team at CSL Behring in Bern. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Quality Control activities and projects within Quality Control Bern, reporting directly to the Manager, Head QC Operation Support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain product specifications, ensuring consistency and timeliness.
- Assess and coordinate change requests, providing professional and timely evaluations.
- Coordinate QC change requests, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Develop and edit SOPs, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
- Coordinate QC projects, ensuring scope and objectives are met.
- Provide administrative support to QC OpS Manager and departments, as assigned.
- Support requests from authorities regarding reagents, control, and reference materials.
- Contribute to global projects and cross-site activities, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Support the resolution of technical questions or problems regarding batch release.
- Capture and edit summarizing QC OOX results, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Establish and maintain relationships with global partners, fostering collaboration and mutual understanding.
- Participate in local and global working groups, projects, initiatives, and task forces, driving technical excellence and innovation.
- Adhere to CSL Guidelines regarding health, safety, and environment, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum: Bachelor or Technical High School in natural sciences, pharmacy, chemical engineering, or related field. Alternatively, laboratory technician with well-founded experience in the field of responsibility.
- Project management qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industry with significant exposure to GMP or closely related environment.
- Experience in microbiological, biological, chemical, or biochemical analytics in medicinal or pharmaceutical GMP environment.
- Fluent in German and English.
