We are seeking an accomplished Senior Controls Engineer to spearhead the development of innovative Process Control System solutions within our Applications Engineering field. This role requires a high level of expertise in designing and implementing project-specific control systems that meet the requirements of both end-users and our business.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with multiple functional teams, including Lead Engineers, Engineering Centers, Sales, and others to contribute decisively to customer success. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from developing functional and design specifications to performing internal tests and customer acceptance tests.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Designing and developing functional and design specifications for Emerson Control systems under the supervision of the Lead Engineer.
  • Performing design studies and quality documents for projects according to the project specifications and in line with applicable procedures and quality plans.
  • Configuring SW applications for the Emerson Controls System DeltaV.
  • Providing commissioning and start-up support at customer sites as well as after-sales service and training.

About You:

You are a self-motivated and ambitious professional with a passion for making an impact through your work. With a strong background in Electrical or Process Automation Engineering, you possess excellent technical skills, including experience working in the Process Automation environment and knowledge of control system hardware and software engineering.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Process Automation Engineering.
  • Strong skills in DeltaV.
  • Knowledge of control system design, HW cabinet design, software system design, software implementation, and software testing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills along with written and verbal communication skills, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Proficiency in English and French, with the ability to travel occasionally.
