Controller Senior

We are searching for a Controller Senior to join our team at Canton de Vaud. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our accounting and controlling functions, ensuring compliance with Swiss GAAP and IFRS.

About the Position

The Controller Senior will be responsible for:

  • Preparing company accounts and liaising with auditors and tax authorities
  • Designing and implementing internal financial control systems
  • Budgeting and cash flow management

Additionally, you will be expected to:

  • Prepare statutory filings and registration
  • Manage payroll and monthly reconciliation with HR
  • Implement financial modules of trading systems
Responsibilities

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A higher degree in finance or a related field
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar senior role
  • Expertise in Swiss civil-, finance, and tax laws and regulations
  • Strong knowledge of Swiss Accounting and International Accounting Standards (IFRS)

You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
