What is the job role? We are open to both full-time and part-time positions during the contract period. Full-time: 5 days per week Part-time: 3 days/week (with flexibility to work more hours during peak weeks) The successful candidate(s) will educate visitors on the SunGod brand and products, acquire sales and manage stock. You'll also get hands-on to enhance the Basecamp shop front. The successful candidate(s) will show the intuition to increase sales whilst maintaining excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: - Be the front of house for all customers and visitors to SunGod Basecamp - Drive sales and implement strategies to maximise shop revenue - Enhance the Basecamp shop front, ensuring it will always look and feel welcoming to visitors - Manage/Support product stock and orders - Maintain the Basecamp Instagram account, driving customers to the store - Create, promote and run in-resort events, marketing & partnerships - Support the digital marketing and customer support teams - Understand SunGod’s triple bottom line of people, planet and profit, and incorporate this into your job role accordingly Responsibilities will depend on the job role (Basecamp Manager, or Assistant Manager) and experience of the candidate. Who are we looking for? We are looking for people who are passionate about our products, our brand and our mission. They must be highly organised, have a proactive approach to work and be excited by the opportunity to expand SunGod’s presence in Verbier. The ideal person has the following skills, experiences and competencies: - Minimum 6 months of retail/front-of-house experience - Genuine interest in winter sports - Structured, independent and proactive working attitude - Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential - Fluent or Conversational French is essential - Fluent in English, both written and verbal - Local knowledge is preferable What to expect from this application… This application will ask a few questions about you and your experience.
