INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION

AN EXCITING CHANCE TO JOIN THE W VERBIER TEAM

As an Events & Groups Intern, you will be integrated into the Events Department and report directly to the Event Coordinator and the Event Manager. You will assist your supervisors to ensure that client requests are handled in a timely manner and that each organized event is exceptional and flawlessly executed.

You will support the daily operations of the Events Department while contributing to the hotel's client development, as well as assisting in the preparation and follow-up of offers and the smooth running of events. You will participate in the drafting and distribution of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and ensure seamless communication of any changes or updates to the hotel's relevant departments.

You will take part in hotel site inspections and planning meetings for upcoming groups. You will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and the external sales team. Finally, you will actively contribute to the success of the events by providing high-quality administrative and operational support.

PROFILE

• Must be enrolled in a hospitality management school
• Outgoing, cheerful, sociable, attentive, passionate, and available
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in foreign languages (French, English, German, and others are a plus)
• Organized, reliable, punctual, and motivated
• Thorough knowledge of the hotel's various departments
• Strong teamwork skills
• Excellent personal presentation, reflecting the W Verbier brand image
• Knowledge and adherence to service procedures and standards
• Genuine interest in the worlds of taste, sound, body, scenee, and stance
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences

Internship starting mi-February or March 2026 for 6 months
