**Purpose of the role**

The Proton VPN Business Unit is responsible for all growth activities for Proton VPN product. We are looking for a dynamic and business savvy Product Marketing Associate to join this team. The Product Marketing Associate will oversee the product marketing and communications strategies for the Proton VPN new feature launches. You will build an understanding of the competitive environment and the privacy market to help the business unit achieve its growth objectives. Finally, you will champion our users voice for optimal product developments.

**What you will do**
- Take ownership of the product marketing and communications strategies for Proton VPN
- Help define & champion Proton VPN’s target audiences, messaging, and positioning
- Manage growth, acquisition, and retention activities across marketing channels for Proton VPN
- Improve conversion rates across the board, including landing pages, upgrade pages, renewal pages, and any other touchpoint for our products
- Act as the users’ advocate and the voice of the market, synthesizing customer feedback into actionable insights to inform future product development
- Build competitor research and analysis decks for the Proton VPN business unit
- Create and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and analyses of internal results
- Previous exposure to a Marketing role or as a Business Analyst. Either from work experience (1-3 years) or relevant internships.
- Strong project and program management, with the ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment, setting objectives, and prioritizing activities based on impact.
- Independent, self-motivated, and proactive. You don’t require constant input, and you have meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication, management, interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead by influence
- You are personally immersed in Tech and SaaS businesses
- Highly curious, you are always wanting to know the “why” behind actions
- Ability to transform data into insights
- You are fluent in English, and are an effective communicator and writer
