About the team you are joining

You'll be joining a small, dynamic team within the Commercial Products & Services (CP&S) division, reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Travel & Tourism Economic BI. As the Product Manager for MarketIS and NTR (Nationality Traffic Report), you'll play a crucial role in driving strategic product management.

This encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including collecting and prioritizing customer and product requirements, contributing to the product roadmap, and collaborating closely with our Regional Sales and Marketing teams to achieve your product, revenue, surplus and customer satisfaction objectives. Your role also includes identifying and nurturing new product opportunities and constant enhancements to keep your portfolio competitive and relevant.

What your day would be like

Your daily responsibilities as a Product Manager for MarketIS & NTR will be challenging, diverse, yet highly rewarding:

- Revenue and Results: You'll be tasked with not only managing but surpassing the revenue and operating result targets for your portfolio.
- Marketing and Sales Strategies: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute overarching marketing and sales strategies.
- Product Management: Take charge of product development, growth, promotion, distribution, pricing, budgeting, forecasting, and product administration.
- Strategic Business Planning: Develop and implement strategic business plans for your assigned portfolio and help define targets.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct competitive and market intelligence studies in coordination with the Marketing department to support your objectives.
- Innovation: Identify, define, evaluate, and champion new product and service opportunities, overseeing their successful implementation.
- Reporting: Provide timely financial and operational status reports, along with other relevant information.
- Operations: Collaborate with relevant IATA departments or external partners to oversee operational and production functions.
- Stakeholder Management: Foster positive relationships with internal stakeholders and engage with external key accounts, potentially organizing and delivering a user forum.

We would love to hear from you if

A University degree (Bachelor or Masters) in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or equivalent.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, business development, or marketing/sales activities.
A strong understanding of the airline, airport, and air travel industry, including key issues, business economics, and the need for data and business intelligence tools.
Experience in new product concept development, feature definition, and the development of innovative business models.
Knowledge of budgetary processes and financial projections.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within a team.
Proficiency in PC skills, particularly with MS Office programs.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with knowledge of other languages considered a valuable asset.
