On behalf of our client, a well known Swiss Company, we are currently looking for an experienced German and English speaking** Strategic Buyer, **for a role based at our client's site in **Bern - Switzerland.**

**The Role**

Take responsibility for comprehensive procurement efficiency measures and to actively participate and take procurement to the next level as part of our Client's business of tomorrow
- As a Strategic Buyer, you will be responsible for procurement of publications for the entire Client's Business, whereby you will advise and support our internal Client's customers in all phases of the procurement
- You work with your customers to develop the guidelines and specifications for complex procurements in compliance with compliance requirements
- You will also conduct demanding negotiations and be responsible for drafting the contracts
- Supplier and contract management complete the respective procurement process
- You will actively support the creation of product group strategies and the identification and implementation of efficiency measure
- You enjoy building and maintaining relationships with our Client's users.

**Your Profile**
- You have completed basic technical training in the graphics industry and an appropriate industry related further training (HF TSM, HF, TGZ, GIB or similar).
- Ideally, you already have a Federal diploma, Buyer Diploma or Certification or Federal diploma in a Purchasing manager or a similar qualification
- Experience in the printer industry and experience in the procurement of goods in this sector on daily basis
- 6 years plus of experience in a similar role
- Experience with Project Management, Procurement Management and Procurement law, preferably in Public Procurement.
- You also have proven knowledge of the MS Office package and SAP (Ariba is an advantage)
- Your ability to think analytically, a high level of social skills and communication skills
- ** Fluent in German, as well as English and French required
