**Graduate Programme - Human Resources**:
**Description**:
Union Bancaire Privée (UBP) is one of the largest family-owned private banks in the world. But what makes UBP really unique is its corporate culture, which combines modernity and tradition. Although UBP was founded in 1969, its origins can be traced back to the 17th century and the start of a long line of financiers and diplomats of whom Edgar de Picciotto and his descendants are the successors. Today, the Bank's staff draw their inspiration and drive from the founding family's subtle blend of strong moral values and pragmatism, which to this day remain the key to UBP’s success.

**Mission**:
12 months program which comes with a permanent contract and includes rotations through various HR teams in Geneva or abroad offering you the opportunity to acquire targeted professional skills as well as practical experience in the Human Resources field.

**Challenges**:

- You will learn to manage projects, build stakeholder relationships across various departments giving you the chance to acquire knowledge and understanding of HR related activities.
- You will have the opportunity to interact with various HR colleagues across the globe allowing you to build an extensive internal network of colleagues and experts.
- You will be supported by a mentor, and a "buddy" during the entire program.
**Main responsibilities***:I. Learning & Development (6 months)**
- Working with the L&D team to help ensure that an appropriate framework and training solutions are in place which support UBP's business objectives
- Participate in L&D projects and initiatives to support employees in their personal/career development
- Understand L&D processes and propose process improvements where applicable
- Prepare management reporting, updates and presentations as required by Group Head HR and Head of L&D.

**II. Human Resources team - abroad (3 months)**
- Join an HR team in one of the Group's locations
- Understand the role of the HR department, the responsibilities and interactions
- Learn about the local regulations and requirements
- Understand HR processes and propose processes improvements where applicable
- Support the processes of the teams in line with internal procedures and policies

**III. Front office department (2-3 months)**
- Join a Wealth Management business team
- Understand the different roles within the Front office team
- Support business activities and processes providing HR solutions in line with business needs and expectations.

**Education**:

- Education: Master Degree
- Certification: Master’s degree in Business Administration or Psychology
- IT Tools: Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite

**Experience**:

- Years of experience: 0-3 : beginner
- Experience required: Maximum 6 months’ professional experience
- Experience in private banking: Optional

**Language**:

- English: Fluent
- French: Fluent (Any other language skills would be a plus)

**Personal skills**:

- Swiss resident: Mandatory
