**The programme**:
This is a unique 24-month experience where we offer you a permanent position along with a specific programme with rotations in different teams to build your expertise and professional skills. Based on a permanent contract, our graduate programme includes on

As a participant in the programme, you will not only develop the technical and interpersonal skills needed for your future career at Pictet but also be given the opportunity to build a network of peers within the company.- Pictet Alternative Advisors (PAA) is a leading alternative investment group and a wholly owned subsidiary of Pictet with expertise in hedge funds, private equity, real estate and private debt. With teams based globally, PAA constructs, manages and advises portfolios of alternative investment solutions for institutional and private clients.- Pictet has high growth ambitions for PAA for the coming years, notably to expand its product and solution offering as well as further develop its institutional and intermediary client base. In view of these developments, PAA is looking to hire a Graduate to join the Hedge Funds Customised Solutions team composed of 4 highly skilled professionals.**Your role**:

- Client Servicing:
- Prepare comprehensive portfolio reviews and insightful comments to enhance client understanding and engagement.
- Assist in organizing and facilitating client meetings, ensuring a seamless and professional experience.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients by sending regular updates and addressing any inquiries promptly.
- Support the sales force of Pictet Wealth Management and Pictet Asset Management in effectively promoting our range of products and services.
- Contribute to the development of compelling marketing materials and advisory publications to showcase our expertise and attract new clients.
- Portfolio Management:
- Work closely with portfolio managers to execute investment management activities, including portfolio design, trade implementation, and portfolio rebalancing.
- Provide valuable advice on constructing and managing hedge fund portfolios, optimizing risk-return profiles.
- Monitor and evaluate underlying hedge fund investments, ensuring alignment with clients' investment objectives.
- Actively participate in investment committees, contributing insights and recommendations for informed decision-making.
- Assist in the development of innovative portfolio management tools to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Conduct thorough analysis, selection, and ongoing monitoring of alternative investment funds, identifying potential issues and proposing effective solutions.
- Projects:
- Engage in various ad-hoc initiatives, such as responsible investment initiatives.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities, supporting strategic decision-making.
- The programme is made up of rotations in different teams within the Group. These rotations will allow you to get a broader perspective on the interdependency and synergies across departments and business lines. You will also develop your leadership, business and technical skills. At the end of the programme, you will be ready to take a full-time position on the HFCS team in Geneva.**Your profile**:

- University degree in a relevant field such as finance or economics from a top-tier university.
- Theoretical knowledge or relevant work/internship experience in portfolio construction, investment processes and risk management approaches - with a maximum of two years’ work experience.
- Solid knowledge of alternative investments universe (liquid and illiquid) as well as a strong interest in financial markets in general.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to deliver a short and convincing pitch. Analytical, proactive and results oriented with a proven ability to work autonomously as well as with a team.
- Drive, positive energy and a team player.
- Fluency in English and French; German would be a plus.
- Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
