Aktiia was founded out of a passion to create the best solution for the diagnosis and management of hypertension.

We are a venture-backed startup that recently closed a new financing round. Our technology is based on (15+) years of research by our founders at the prestigious Swiss research institution, CSEM. Aktiia's solution has been validated through extensive trials in acute and low-acute settings, with its accuracy receiving worldwide acknowledgment from medical and scientific experts. The Aktiia team (45 employees) is smart and driven, with colleagues who are all focused on bringing to market an innovative and impactful solution.

To strengthen our clinical team, we are looking for a:
**CLINICAL DATA MANAGER**:
to start at the earliest convenience (100% position)

**Responsibilities**
- Design, implement, document, and maintain robust data engineering environments for the collection, gathering, processing and monitoring of data from clinical studies, ensuring compliance with clinical study protocols.
- Generate and report statistics related to the outcomes of the studies.
- Create compelling visual materials and reports shared with study’s Principal Investigators and Aktiia personnel, and to support scientific publications.
- Collaborate with and report to the Clinical Operations Manager and Chief Medical Officer on data management and study progress.
- Open to engage with other diversified activities such as:

- Taking a lead role in the engineering and logistic activities related to internal and external clinical studies.
- Train the clinical sites to the Aktiia device use and manage requests from clinical sites regarding Aktiia device use.

**Your profile**
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in statistics, applied mathematics, or related discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis.
- Expertise with Matlab, Python, and the Microsoft Suite.
- Experience with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) tools.
- Familiarity with databases and Cloud infrastructures is an asset.
- Comfort working in a dynamic, research-oriented group with several ongoing concurrent projects.
- Preferably Swiss-located, Swiss work permit necessary.
