Operational Excellence Manager (f/m/n)

RUAG Space is part of RUAG International. The company focuses on the aerospace industry and employs around 6’000 employees. RUAG Space is the leading supplier of products for the space industry in Europe. Three product groups, six countries, one team: Electronics, Spacecraft and Launchers are part of our product portfolio. We develop, produce and test subsystems and equipment for use in space. **Your responsibilities**
- Demonstrate the knowledge of the Opex methodology (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile and Scrum, Value Stream Mapping, pulled flows, Kanban, 5S, Kaizen)
- Implement, coach, and lead the deployment of Opex methodology, principles, and tools
- Ensure knowledge sharing and use of best practices globally and across the different functions
- Provide learning modules across the sites and functions
- Assess the Opex methodology, principles, and tools across the organization (sites/functions), and give feedback on opportunities/gaps
- Work in collaboration with leadership teams to identify the success factors and necessary conditions to reach the strategic goals
- Provide regular and ongoing feedback regarding improvement opportunities to Space LT and to Opex team
- Drive Opex culture throughout the organization by organizing & facilitating Opex events as necessary at all levels
- Coordinate education and training of management & “multipliers” for Opex methodology, principles, and tools practices
- Report defined KPIs & metrics regularly to Opex team, Space LT
- As leader understand, develop, and act as a role model in all aspects of diversity and inclusion
**Your profile**
- Graduate degree in Opex related discipline (e.g. engineering, operations management, business etc.)
- Excellent project management skills
- Change management skills: instilling, implementing and dealing with change and challenges while also balancing the need for change with the need for continuity, creating an environment that inspires people to adapt to changing situations, and to accept change
- Technical Opex skills and/or experience in successful deployment of Agile, Lean and Six Sigma
- Lean, 6-Sigma, Agile&Scrum training and/or certification (including: Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen facilitation, pulled flows, Kanban, Hoshin, 5S, etc.)
- Industry experience
- Very good communicative skills in English, other languages (e.g. German, French, Swedish) are a plus
- Good computer skills, experience with working in an ERP system (such as IFS)
- Team oriented, contributing to a good atmosphere and a good climate for cooperation
