**Responsibilities**:
- Understanding the basics of mechanical ventilation and patient-ventilator-interaction
- Perform and Manage simulations to asses ventilator performance
- Preparing and programming tools to analyse simulation and clinical data
- Testing and validating different algorithms on simulations and clinical data
- Identifying weaknesses and strengths of the algorithms
Qualifications:
- Studies in a relevant field (engineering, computer science, or equivalent) at master level
- Good knowledge in Matlab programming (Python is an advantage)
- Fluent in English language
