**JOB DESCRIPTION**

As Assistant Venues Director, you will make things happen by developing, implementing and maintaining quality standards for the hotel's food and beverage outlets, i.e. you will be responsible for inspecting outlets to ensure that food quality and service are up to standard, that physical facilities and equipment are well maintained and that all health and safety regulations are adhered to.

You will be in charge of assisting the Director on the different sales points of the hotel, such as, our signature restaurant Bô, the Eat-Holà Tapas, U-Yama, the breakfast, the banqueting service, as well as the Mixbar with the In-room-dining.

You will supervise the floor and manage the catering staff, making adjustments as necessary to maintain service standards.
You will work closely with our talent coaches (supervisors and managers) to ensure that everything is under control. To do this, you'll be on the floor most of the time.

Your main tasks will be to pay close attention to detail and to offer the best possible experience to our customers, while ensuring that everything runs smoothly and that everyone is satisfied. With the help of your Director, you will be the point person for quality, cleanliness and the promotion of the various catering outlets within the W.

**PROFILE**

Solid experience in the restaurant industry, with several years' experience in a high-end, lifestyle environment.
You are passionate
You have an eye for detail and always strive to exceed the expectations of our customers and your team.
Fluent in English and French, both spoken and written.
Computer skills: Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Micros.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Act with integrity, adaptability, flexibility and results orientation
Team player, attracting, developing and retaining talent
Financial acumen
A genuine interest in the worlds of taste, sound, the body, the stage and taking a stand
You have great attention to detail and are passionate about delivering a memorable customer experience.
