Project Document Controller

For the Life Sciences division, we are looking for a committed and experienced DocumentController/Turnover Coordinator who will support our team and ensure efficient and organized control of project documentation. Responsible for the efficient organization, management and delivery of our project documents. As well, you are accountable for the management and control of Project Turnover/Handover process and to ensure the CMS information contributes to an effective hand-over for the construction, commissioning and start-up phases of a manufacturing facility.
Functions:
- Responsibility for document management, including document capture, tracking, revision approval and archiving
- Prepare handover inspection and test documentation and operation & maintenance manuals
- Ensuring compliance with applicable document policies, industry regulations and government regulations
- Coordinate commissioning of electrical systems with the STS teams and other stakeholders
- Coordination of the document management system and development of best practices
- Full review of inspection and test documentation
- Carrying out regular reviews of the documents for completeness, accuracy and consistency
- Deliver STS quality themed inductions and toolbox talks to project teams
- Coordinate with different departments and stakeholders to collect, validate and collect feedback on documents
- Ensure compliance to regulatory standards throughout the installation and inspection of the project
- Management of document change and approval process, including version control
- Liaise with the construction management team and client on installation and quality matters
- Implementation of improvements in the document management process and support in the training of employees
- Perform quality inspections of the installations and control the close out of defects
- Close cooperation with internal and external auditors to ensure the provision of documents for audits
- Input into weekly progress reporting on quality items
**Requirements**:
- Business Management degree or similar
- Previous experience working in Logistics.
- HR background and experience preferred
- Experience as a Document Lead or similar
- Strong understanding of industry specific regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a demanding environment
- Excellent communication skills and team orientation
- Experience in managing projects and training staff
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational / planning skills
- Ability to self-manage, prioritise and work to tight deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients
- Working Knowledge of GDPR, GDP & GMP Compliance
- Use of Information Systems (including Microsoft Office, WorkDay & SAP Success Factors)
- Working Knowledge of Document Management Systems
- Native English knowledge
