The brand new multi-purpose manufacturing and development site in Lengnau is designed for large scale biologics manufacturing and has a vast expansion potential. After completion of the construction phase, our Lengnau site will offer highly flexible biomanufacturing technologies, from process development to large-scale production to successfully meet the needs of our customers.
**DSPD Lab Scientist, BioProcess Sciences Labs (M/F/d)**
**Location: Lengnau**
In this position, you perform downstream process development studies for our clients as part of the technical DSPD project team. You are a key player for our day-to-day lab activities with responsibility over specific equipment, lab areas, lab consumable and chemicals. In addition, you will own the activities of our internal OpenLab, performing in-process analytics and transfer-in the required analytical assays from our colleagues in analytical development.
**Your Responsibilities**:
- Perform process development studies according to study protocols. Document execution and results according to good documentation practices
- Support the study lead in establishing study documents, such as study plan, electronic lab book protocols, study presentations and study report.
- Facilitate lab operations by ordering consumables and chemicals, and by acting as responsible person over specific lab areas.
- Act as equipment responsible, ensuring maintenance and the preparation of standard operating procedures for equipment and/or methods.
- Coordinate and perform our DSP-internal analytics. Transfers assays for recombinant protein analysis, and maintains OpenLab workflows. Occasional week-end work is required. Infrequently, international travel

**Your profile**:
- Degree (M.Sc. or B.Sc.) in Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.), Dipl. Ing. or equivalent
- Excellent communication, self-organization and problem-solving skills, coupled with a customer-centric attitude
- Great teammate that excels in a multicultural, international environment
- Language skills: English (Working proficiency) and German (beneficial)
