**Your role**
- With the merger of Credit Suisse into UBS, we are looking for someone to support the extensive day-to-day administrative and logístical tasks related to the integration of the Credit Suisse Collection (ca.13,500 artworks) in Switzerland. This role includes:
- support of the Art Collection team in Switzerland with the integration of artworks from the Credit Suisse Collection into the UBS Art Collection
- support of the extensive inventory and administrative management of works in branches/offices in Switzerland and in our art storage facilities
- organization and supervision of art installations and art removals in Swiss branches and offices (incl. logistics like fine art shipping, loan agreements, etc.)
- database maintenance: work with the art databases ‘Maximo’ (CS) and ‘Art Plus’ (UBS): create new artwork records, update location changes, take and upload images and condition reports, pull reports for artwork proposals, review and maintain art records in ArtPlus after database migration, and much more
- support and research of provenance information, inventory-lists, history of works, auction prices etc.
- connecting with our internal and external stakeholders
- digital image editing (Photoshop)
- move of the physical archive (CS)
- support with art sales to staff in Zürich
- help with communications, copyright requests, social media, press inquiries
**Your team**
- The UBS Art Collection is one of the most significant corporate collections in the world with more than 30,000 works including paintings, works on paper, sculptures, and video. With a focus on contemporary art from the 1960s onwards, the Collection is truly international and includes artists representing a wide range of cultures. It is comprised of established artists as well as emerging talents from the regions where UBS does business.
- We are an international team of art professionals, with our Global Head of the Collection based in New York.
- You’ll mainly be working in the Art Collection team in Zürich with a focus on supporting the Credit Suisse Collection Manager.
**Your expertise**
- a bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably in art history, art administration, or similar
- an autonomous, diligent, and detail-oriented work style
- the ability to recognize the different art techniques, especially prints
- no problem working hands on in our storage facilities
- a very good command of Microsoft Office (in particular Powerpoint) and you are a fast learner when it comes to new IT products. Ideally you are also familiar with art database programs and Photoshop
- excellent German and English skills (written and oral)
- good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
- flexible, open-minded and able to stay on track, even when dealing with tight deadlines
