**Nominated Person Ground Operations**
to join our dynamic team
The Zurich based headquarters with over 100 employees in cabin, cockpit and office are working together to connect Zurich with vacation destinations around Mediterranean.
**Tasks and Responsibilities**:
- Overall responsibility for ground operations department,
- Responsible for safe, secure and compliant functionality of ground operations department,
- Functional lead over relevant procedures listed in GOM, OM part A and OMM,
- Ensure that the ground operations are provided according to best standard practice and in compliance with Chair Airlines; internal, EASA, ICAO, IATA and Swiss federal civil aviation requirements,
- Ensuring on-time performance of Chair Airline ground operations,
- Focal responsible person for Dangerous Goods, Cargo and Mail at Chair Airlines,
- Continuous improvement of Chair Airlines ground operations functions and it’s efficiency,
- Ensure business continuity within Chair Airlines route network,
- Supporting Chief Operations Officer in the functions relevant to airline ground operations,
- Supporting Accountable Manager in function, relevant for ground operations,
- Budgetary management over ground operations in Chair Airlines.
- Chair Airlines network stations compliance oversight.
**Requirements**:
- Adequate knowledge of: o The applicable EASA and Swiss federal civil aviation safety, security, and compliance regulations and any associated procedures o International civil aviation relevant legislation as well as the national law o Airline ground operations concepts o Aviation Management systems (Safety, Compliance and Security)
- Network schedule planning and slot coordination knowledge
- Management experience and expertise in airline ground operations, preferably in a comparable organization
- High social competence, credibility and conflict resolution ability,
- High sense of responsibility and trustworthiness
- Sound knowledge of German and English language
- Five years of relevant work experience of which at least two years should be of an appropriate airline operations department.
