There is an opportunity to join the Market Intelligence team for a 3-6 month internship. The role offers a dynamic and interesting environment with insight into different topics across the drug manufacturing value chain. The Intern will work with the Market Intelligence team to support the development and maintenance of internal market analysis tools. In particular, you will be responsible for providing granular market intelligence on product, company and technology (i.e. mammalian, microbial, bioconjugates and mRNA) to enable the team to support different stakeholders such as Commercial Development, Sales Force and the Business Units.

Key responsibilities:

- Scientific analysis of Pharma and Biotech drug pipelines on a molecule level
- Linking various sources to defined Excel-based databases, incorporating further design capability for pivotal dashboard reporting
- Drafting of internal presentations based on research results
- Ad hoc analytical requests as defined by the Market Intelligence Team (gather inputs, collaborate with various stakeholders, etc. )
- Collaborates with MI team members to improve MI infrastructure and capabilities

Key requirements:

- Under/Post-graduate in Science (Biochemistry, protein chemistry, microbiology)
- Strong scientific knowledge in recombinant protein technology
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
- Strong organizational, research, planning and self-management skills
- Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in English required
- Eligible to live and work in Switzerland
