The Regional Employee Relations (ER) Leader is responsible for building and executing the employee relations strategy for the assigned area that are aligned with the organization's strategic, business, and talent needs. This role is responsible for defining the ER program policy requirements for the purpose of enhancing the employee experience and maintaining the business competitive advantage. This role collaborates with other COE teams to support an integrated strategy, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:

- Lead employee relations programs for assigned area. Execute employee relations programs based on business need, program requirements, and global alignment.
- Develop content, analyze data and occasionally present, all interim and ad hoc reporting on investigations, metrics, and analytics.
- Develop and plan strategic employee relations projects and program activities with accountability for successful completion of all project deliverables including identifying gaps, recommending solutions while providing direction and guidance to project teams.
- Identify, evaluate, and lead the implementation of employee relations programs and process improvement and/or course correction/course alignment opportunities. Lead in identifying risk, developing mitigation strategies, alternative solutions, resolving issues, etc. in collaboration with cross functional and/or matrix teams.
- Define, create, and establish seamless stakeholder communications and experiences
- Interface and network with external experts to understand the market and emerging tools, trends, and opportunities.
- Other Incidental Duties

Education and Experience:

- Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience with a deep expertise in employee relations gained at regional level
Master's Degree or equivalent in graduate degree in HR, Legal or Business Administration
English is a Must, a combination or French and/or German would be considered as an asset
Additional Skills:

- Professionally trained with demonstrated experience in conducting internal employee investigations.
- Proven success in working in a fast-paced growing business environment
- Experience and understanding of HR enabling technologies (e.g., case management, employee and manager self-service) and how they work within a customer service business environment (ServiceNow preferred)
- Experience leading and mentoring virtual teams and helping to foster/create a “great place to work”
- Experience working collaboratively to facilitate the delivery of HR policies and programs across geographical boundaries and different cultures
- Experience with an ERP system (Workday preferred)
- Experience working with HR technologies related to the practice area
- Demonstrated skill set in fact-finding, analysis, problem solving, independent thinking and conflict resolution.
- Excellent balance of critical thinking and sound judgement.
- Good knowledge of current and upcoming trends, thought leadership, and leading practices for GTM&L with a focus on the Employee Relations area
- Good interpersonal and consulting skills with the ability to build relationships with, influence, and coach leaders across all levels of the organization.
- Strong planning and project management skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret business and HR KPIs/metrics into actionable insights.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment with little direction/guidance but also knows when to escalate issues to the Sr Director, Employee Relations.
- Proficient at functioning effectively within a team environment, present ideas and opinions in a respectful and collegial manner
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
- Possible Locations for this role are Nyon/Switzerland, Munich (Unterschleissheim)/Germany or Paris (Guyancourt)/France
