Global Director Patient Support Program

Global Director, Patient Support Program is a strategic position to drive the best-in class One Patient Support Program (PSP) to Novartis patients. The incumbent identifies innovation opportunities and shares best practices across markets. This role is responsible for ensuring global data analysis, using data to identify patient trends and needs, and proposing innovative solutions for new capabilities, features, or processes to better deliver an outstanding patient experience.
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Manage PSP performance from a global point of view by ensuring global data collection and closely monitoring KPIs and CPIs
- Challenge local PSP teams to go beyond operational data insights and drive actionable recommendations
- Internally benchmark PSP performance to identify product innovation opportunities. Meet with local and regional PSP teams to identify improvement and operations needs and propose potential solutions to be added to the roadmap as areas of innovation and growth
- Set up workshops to share PSP best practices across markets and brands. Update PSP handbook with best practices and markets’ feedback
- Source data experts (e.g., data analysts, data scientists, data engineers) as needed from the Data & Analytics team to run data analysis, identify PSP innovation trends and business opportunities, and draw business insights to foster innovation
- Identify program refreshment needs (e.g., capabilities, features, metrics) and escalate them to the Global Head of PSP
- Develop, strategize, and propose to the Innovation Committee new interventions that will drive PSP innovation
- Run the Innovation Academy, an annual global event to share best practices and generate new PSP ideas

**Minimum requirements**
- Understanding of Innovation and how it should be applied to business
- Familiar with concepts such as blockchain, AI, machine learning, RPA, and cognitive computing
- Adaptive thinking and a strong critical mindset together with excellent verbal/written presentation communication skills
- Ability to work in a flexible manner in line with the organization’s objectives and willingness to undertake other duties as reasonably requested
- Ability to analyze problems, identify alternative solutions and implement recommendations for resolution
