Our Commodity Price Risk Management (CPRM) team works to match hedging activities to pricing activities to protect our margins. We want coverage that protects our margins until the next pricing opportunity. In this role, you help the CPRM team analyze the commodity market and develop best-practice tools to forecast market prices.

**How you will contribute**

You will conduct monthly commodity analyses using the latest supply and demand data and best-in-class market price forecasts. These analyses will be used to help the CPRM team develop price risk management coverage strategy decisions. Based on the data you collect and the analyses you conduct, you will improve constraint optimization to develop new, future-focused price models and long-range price forecasts. In addition, you will track the CPRM team’s KPIs

**What you will bring**

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career with experience and knowledge in:

- Agricultural commodity research and commodity markets
- Analysis methods in an international environment
- Building market intelligence databases and developing sustainable, forward-looking price models
- Make or Buy and E2E analysis
- Econometrics and / or statistics expertise

**More about this role**

This is a maternity cover, temporary contract until 30/06/2024. There may be a possibility of a permanent contract in part time after.

**What extra ingredients you will bring**:

- Degree in agronomy, economics and/or finance, with strong experience in commodity markets
- Fluency in English language
- German language knowledge nice to have
- Experienced in Dairy commodity markets
- Agronomy knowledge is an advantage

The responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland.
