Histology Cytogenetic Technologist

**In this role, you will**:

- Support the development of new FISH service offerings
- Perform cytogenetic techniques (FISH) semi-automated and manual staining
- Perform the interpretation of FISH results under the supervision of the doctor in charge
- Prepare workstation, instrumentation and maintenance on instruments and/or equipment daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually. Ability to adequately maintain accurate records and both adhere to Standard Operating Procedures
- Monitor reagents, material and supplies
- Collaborate with other team members to improve procedures
- Adhere to safety and occupational health policies and standards
- Routine decalcification, processing, embedding, microtomy and re-embedding of human tissue specimens from patients enrolled in clinical trials.
- Maintain proper storage conditions and traceability of Histology blocks and slides (stained and unstained).

**What we’re looking for**:
Histology Cytogenetic Technologists are the most successful at Labcorp with:

- At least 3 years of previous cytogenetic (FISH) experience
- Fluency in French
- Diploma: Medical Technologist (CFC holder) OR Pharmaceutical Biology Technologist (CFC holder) OR Medical Technologist (Swiss State School of Medical Technologist Degree holder) OR Medical Technologist (BTS, DUT, IUT Degree holder)
