Job responsibilities include:

1. Routine decalcification, processing, embedding, microtomy and re-embedding of human tissue specimens from patients enrolled in clinical trials
2. Automated and manual staining (ImmunoHistoChemistry, FISH, etc…)
3. Maintain proper storage conditions and traceability of Histology blocks and slides (stained and unstained)
4. Perform slide scanning as required and according to protocols
5. Prepare workstation, instrumentation and maintenance on instruments and/or equipment daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually
6. Reagents, material and supplies monitoring
7. Adhere to safety and occupational health policies and standards

What we’re looking for:

1. A minimum of 6-month previous experience in histology laboratory
2. Experience in FISH interpretation is a plus
3. Medical Technologist degree (CFC holder, BTS, DUT, IUT Degree holder) or Pharmaceutical Biology Technologist (CFC holder)
4. Fluency in French
5. Ability to adequately maintain accurate records and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.
