HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
- On-schedule handling, planning and management of challenging modernization projects in an international environment
- Together with the project team, you will implement the customer's specifications and develop future-oriented modernization solutions.
- You lead a motivated project team
- You plan and lead the internal engineering activities
- Together with the project team, you create high-quality engineering documents and thus make a significant contribution to the success of the project
- By leading the approval and acceptance activities you achieve a flawless quality of the vehicles as well as the approval in due time
- Develop innovative solutions of top modernization offers for our customers
HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT
- Degree as mechanical engineer, electrical engineer or equivalent education
- Many years of experience in the management of demanding projects in an international environment
- Many years of experience in the railroad industry or in plant construction
- Team player with a high degree of social competence, sense of responsibility and assertiveness
- Completed further training in business management desirable
- Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
- Structured, goal-oriented, dynamic and loyal personality
- Fluent in German and English, other languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel (20-30%)
YOU AND SERVICE
At the competence center in Frauenfeld, with over 6,000 square meters of production space and 110 meters of pit track, Stadler offers domestic and foreign customers a broad portfolio of services: From classic bogie and transmission overhauls to complex accident repairs and demanding refit projects.
- In addition to the projects in Frauenfeld, you will also support orders from our international locations, mainly in Europe. For this purpose, additional languages, especially Italian, are an advantage, but not a must.
- Together with your engineering team in Frauenfeld, consisting of approx. 20 employees, you will be responsible for the successful technical execution of these projects.
