- What will you do?
- As a Project Manager you will be responsible for technical and service aspects of Clinical Trial Projects. This will range from initial discussions with clients, development of the project requirements, documentation aspects of setting up the project and management of all project-related activities through to study completion.
- Your responsibilities as a Project Manager:
- Settle preliminary design of the study and evaluate and understands the study.
- Serve as the internal link within the company and have direct contact with all internal departments and customers.
- Initiate the involvement of appropriate departments, maintain continuous communication with those departments, and ensure the work delivered to customers is of a consistently high standard.
- Attend Project Meetings at the business or customer site. Lead and represent the business at kick-off meetings with the customers.
- Lead and facilitate customer teleconferences, visits and audits, and provide timely provision of customer reports and updates.
- Interact with Quality Assurance/Regulatory personnel to drive Problem Reports to closure.
- Ensure customer needs are properly translated into quotations and take responsibility to manage and amend the quote and budget
- Provide accurate and timely financial forecasting and reporting.
- Responsible for revenue recognition for projects and verified final production information for Accounting Department prior to invoices release.
- Participate in cross-functional business process improvement activities as required.
- Work closely together with the account manager to gain overall customer satisfaction.

- The ability to develop a positive relationship with customers, proactively anticipating, understanding, and responding to the needs of clients to meet or exceed their expectations.
- Previous knowledge of systems associated with projects (i.e. Salesforce, GPMS, Trackwise).
- Education/ Experience:
- Degree, preferably in a healthcare-related field.
- Several years of successful experience in clinical trial project management as a Project Manager or Coordinator.
- An in-depth understanding of clinical trials.
- Strong interpersonal. communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable working with customers in a dynamic environment.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Prefer proficiency in appropriate project planning tools e.g. Microsoft Project, to communicate milestones and critical path activities and responsibilities.
- Mastery of Project Management concepts as a recognized institution in project management.
- Work Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- Some locations require work, on occasion, in a cold environment with exposure to dry ice, liquid nitrogen cryogenics, hazardous and infectious agents, and marked changes in temperature.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., on occasion.
- Must be able to use a computer for up to 8 hours per day.
- 10 - 25% Travel, as needed.
