Job Description:

We are seeking a Project Manager responsible for the execution of project management competency for our business clients.

The Project Manager manages the delivery of the project from the very beginning (team setup, budget review, initiation of project kick-off with team and client) throughout the whole lifecycle of the project until the completion and formal closure of the project. He/she is also responsible for internal and external reporting of project status and progress (workload progress, finance status, etc.), for implementing and executing processes for managing risks, issues and changes during the project and also for completing the project within the defined budget and profitability level.

Responsibilities:

  1. Acknowledge contractual details of project
  2. Setup project team and prepare project plan for delivery
  3. Execute daily project management activities
  4. Provide regular internal and external reporting of project status to different levels of stakeholders
  5. Execute properly Risk, Issue and Change management process
  6. Obtain client acceptance for partial and complete delivery
  7. Deliver the project within the time, quality, budget and profit level
  8. Deliver and lead small to medium sized projects or subprojects in a program
  9. Manage local and remote team members
  10. Collaborate with client and 3rd party team members and suppliers
  11. Comply with company’s project management standards and processes
  12. Support to identify and unlock further business opportunities
  13. Support the acquisition process and in offer creation
  14. Establish and further develop Merkle project management skills
  15. General consulting services
  16. Create simple concepts and specifications

Qualifications:

  1. At least 1-2 years of experience in the same role
  2. Sales and business mindset
  3. Relevant graduation with a university degree or other higher educational background
  4. Team spirit – able to work within regional and international level with other teammates
  5. Relationship management – create relationships on all levels.
  6. Deliver and lead small to medium sized projects or subprojects in a medium sized program
  7. Fluent in German and English, written and spoken, any other language is a plus
  8. Experienced with project management discipline, know-how of modern project methodologies (e.g. Kanban, Agile, etc.)
  9. As an advantage: Certified in Project Management (Prince 2 practitioner, PMP, Agile PM Practitioner or other equal, Scrum Master or IPMA, etc.)
  10. Very good communication skills
