WHERE YOU'LL FIT IN THE TEAM

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead global initiatives to upskill our leadership team on the topics that are setting the agenda for businesses (e.g. ESG, digital, etc.)

**Responsibilities include**:

- Collaborate with our ESG or Vector (digital) practice leadership to
- Define priority learning goals for different populations within Bain
- Develop implementation plans and success metrics
- Identify, develop, and recommend curriculum and learning options, incorporating external and internal expertise
- Screen, select, and manage key external partners/vendors and other experts
- Work with digital learning team and our Practice, Product & Knowledge (PPK) team to develop and roll out both internally developed and externally curated content
- Program manage global learning initiatives (e.g. working with regional leadership teams to provide support to offices and practices in their deployment of initiatives)

Lead a ‘center of excellence’ providing support to Practice areas on learning and training. The goal is for the Global training team to collaborate with practice areas (e.g. Private Equity or Financial Services) to help them accelerate expertise learning among their practice affiliates.

**Responsibilities would include**:

- Engage practice areas to understand their learning needs, resources, and pain points
- Define a strategy and operating model for how to support practice areas
- Manage requests from practice areas for global training support
- Ensure that Bain is identifying and leveraging instructionally sound and cutting-edge learning practices

**Position Philosophy**:
The Director must be able to become a trusted adviser to consulting and practice area leadership around the world at a strategic and operational level. This role requires strategic insight and leadership given its centrality to current firm priorities.

ABOUT YOU
- 8-10+ years relevant experience in executive education (e.g. with a leading business school, EdTech firm, or in learning & development at a large global company); additional experience working in a professional services / consulting firm is a plus
- Proven business leader, with entrepreneurial characteristics and experience leading change
- Effective global networker, able to work collaboratively with people from around the world
- Experience leading project teams (experience with Agile/Scrum approaches a plus)
- Ability to team globally, including flexibility in occasionally adjusting priorities and work hours/ availability to meet customer needs; position requires willingness to travel, though more predictable and less often than a typical client engagement
- High levels of discretion to manage highly confidential and sensitive data and information appropriately
