General information:
Responsibilities: Defines new AC Service offering for the Service categories Retrofit, Upgrade and Extension business. Sets technical requirements, price, cost and capital expenditure targets and prioritizes the Service investment in his domain. Contributes to development of new AC Service portfolio by leading customer need and value analysis, planning the roadmap to create maximum value and creating cost competitive upgrade, extension and retrofit offerings to defend and leverage the Hitachi Energy AC installed base. Prioritizes and drive new product/SW/Service development projects with responsibility for achievement of targets (product characteristics, time, costs, capital expenditure, pay-back) and coordinating cross-functional teams. Owns and approves defined product/SW/Service development process stage gates. Leads life cycle management process and tracks performance metrics Leads market intelligence analysis. Understands and defines current market segmentation and related service positioning. Identifies potential gaps in portfolio to grow Retrofit, Upgrade and Extension business, both against competition and new market opportunity. Collects market requirements through the regional HBU and directly from end-customer Leverage digital as a key enabler for our AC Service offering and improve customer experience and ease of doing business with our Service solutions Acts as interface between external market and internal functions (e.g. Sales, Operations, and Research & Development), defining requirements and R&D development priorities, forecasting volume trends on a regular basis to ensure Operation's capability to fulfil customer orders. Sets targets and monitors product/system/service costs, giving inputs to Operations functions (e.g. Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Production) to maximize competitiveness and profitability Defines product customer value proposition per segment and channel and ensures clear communication to channels and users, to deliver clear service positioning within the portfolio with defined values Initiates and drives product market communication strategy, including product launch planning and implementation. Manages different channel to market scenarios in coordination with channel partners and Marketing & Sales to ensure best market coverage Responsible for AC Service category Retrofit, Upgrade and Extension profitability's and margins. Drives the annual business planning according to Mid-term Management Plan 2024 growth Strategy. Monitors global sales target fulfilment and tender volumes and takes action as appropriate In preparation for new product launch, and otherwise as required, defines pricing strategies and manages global frame agreements and/or large-scale cross border projects to ensure one Hitachi Energy Grid Automation AC Service approach. Ensures correct pricing is applied for all countries (HBU's), products/SW Services within relevant. Develops and maintains a global reference price list Continuously develops AC Service portfolio management processes and tools, including interfaces to other key functions and develops sales and tendering tools to support the Sales organization. Initiates creation of external and internal product training modules, brochures and programs Initiates and drives cross functional and cross-organization product and solution innovation teams, monitors development of all standards and market trends and provides inputs to Research & Development (R&D) for patent screening process and intellectual property rights protection. Improved the customer experience with HE Service solutions "ease of doing business with". Leverages Digital as a key Service enabler

Your background: Degree in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent Minimum 5 years of proven work experience with Grid Automation & Communication products, services or systems In-depth knowledge of Hitachi Energy IEDs, RTUs, FOX Multiplexer, and MicroSCADA, would be an asset Excellent communication skills in English and ideally, any other language is considered as a plus Comfortable working in large matrix organization and proven track record in working with cross-functional teams. Good presentation skills Willingness to extend existing knowledge about Grid Automation service solutions
